Shri Sadguru Sukhdev Maharaj

Shri Sadguru Sukhdev Maharaj was born in 1951 at Govardhan Village dist Washim Maharashtra. Maharaj’s father’s name was Ganpat Kanjarbhat and his mother’s name was Nandabai. His father moved from Jabalpur to Nanded and from there to Jalgaon (Maharashtra) for working. His mother died when Maharaj was four years old. In a very difficult situation Maharaj has completed his education upto M.A. After that he acquired LL.B. law degree. Maharaj got married at a very young age. Maharaj has taken nam diksha from his Guru Shri Shivram Maharaj who was the disciple of Sadguru Dhodopant Maharaj. Maharaja was fond of spirituality. After Naam Diksha, Maharaj practiced regular meditation. Maharaja got a job in the Government Water Supply Department. Maharaj was doing charity by taking care of his household. Gradually Maharaj got fond of singing Ektari Bhajan. It was a daily routine of going to work during the day, going to say bhajans in the evening and doing regular meditation along with it. By the grace of Sadhguru Shri Shivram Maharaj through regular sadhana and Guru Bhakti, Maharaja experienced self-realization. After that, Maharaj dedicated himself to charity. After receiving authority from Guruji, Maharaj has been continuing the work of people’s welfare and awareness without interruption.

Maharaj’s work of giving spiritual lessons by introducing people to Swarup through his stories, saptahs, kirtans, satsangs continues unabated even today.
